All of my quilts are made to be used every day, but like all nice things, they should be handled with care. All are made using 100% high quality cotton and are pre-washed if there is any question about color fastness of dye used within a fabric. They may be machine washed in cold water with reduced spin speed if your washer allows and dried on low setting for just a few minutes. Better to dry them on a flat surface where they can be smoothed and straightened. I often put a large bed sheet outside on the ground, then spread the quilt, then place another sheet on top to prevent the sun from bleaching the color. They dry quickly on a warm day and this method virtually eliminates the quilt from shrinking. All have double-sided hand sewn bindings and range in size from lap quilts to queen/king size bed quilts.
